Our dedicated team is led by the highly experienced Dr. Sarah Cook and Dr. Zachary Morrison, who have been safeguarding and enhancing the vision of countless families in our community.
Dr. Sarah Cook grew up in rural western Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration. During her time at Oklahoma State and in the restaurant industry, she garnered her love to serve and care for others. After many years in the restaurant industry, she felt the need to shift toward a healthcare career (her entire family is healthcare professionals of some degree) and she decided on Optometry.
While attending optometry school she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and NSU honor society, she received the AOF Vistakon Award of Excellence for contact lenses, and was awarded travel grants and fellowships as a result of her professionalism and integrity in patient care. She graduated Cum Laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2016 with her Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr Cook enjoys serving the Sapulpa and surrounding communities with high-level and quality eye care for individuals and families. Every patient is not just a face to put glasses on, they become friends and we are (hopefully) an important stop for them once a year. Dr. Cook is passionate about all the care provided at Eye to Eye and manages ocular disease such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetes. She specializes in contact lens – even specialized fits for patients with corneal trauma, corneal transplants, keratoconus and post-refractive surgery complications.
In her spare time, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with family – most of all her son – and enjoys time outside when the Oklahoma weather cooperates. She enjoys traveling, movies and food – cooking new things and trying new things; after all, food was her first passion!
Dr. Zachary Morrison was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Zoology. Growing up, he always wanted to be involved in healthcare. During his time at Oklahoma State, he shadowed many optometrists and determined helping people with their vision was his new passion. In 2022, he obtained his Doctorate of Optometry in Memphis, TN at Southern College of Optometry, where he was recognized for his skills in contact lenses and awarded the Xcel Contacts Outstanding GP Fitting Award.
Dr. Morrison has a passion for serving areas in need of healthcare accessibility which led him to return to his home state and Sapulpa. One of his favorite things is getting to know each one of his patients.
Upon meeting, Dr. Morrison recognized Dr. Cook’s business model and patient care approach aligned with his beliefs. Thanks to their shared emphasis on patient care he decided to join Eye to Eye in June of 2023. He is now accepting new patients for primary eye care, specialty contact lens and ocular disease such as macular degeneration, diabetes, glaucoma, dry eyes, and cataracts.
Outside of work, Dr. Morrison loves spending time with his significant other, Lillian, as well as his two cats! He loves to explore on his road bike, watch movies, and play soccer. Of course, his favorite activity is watching the Pokes!
